'Enjoy the Dee' Leaflet launched.

Posted on

We are delighted to announce the launch and distribution of our new 'Enjoy the Dee' leaflet

The leaflet supplies you with information on great places to get you out and about on Deeside. Whether you fancy a bike ride, gentle stroll, canoe down the river or a place to have a picnic with a view, this can help you to decide. Visitors to the area can find out where to hire bikes, go for a horse ride, try fishing and even how to search for geocaches.

In order to keep the river special, we have included a section on 'Leave only footprints' supplying you with advice on how to have a fire safely, on developing good communication on the river between anglers and paddlers and why it is important to have your dog on the lead at certain times of the year.

We would like to thank all of the contributors to the leaflet, Silver Spurtle for help with the design and Aberdeenshire Council for funding the first print run. If you would like to have any of these leaflets for display at your business, please contact Marina on (013398) 80411 or email marina@riverdee.org
